For the second time, Keren Hajessod Switzerland welcomed almost 200 guests to the KH Film Matinée at the Filmpodium Zurich on August 31, 2025.

Daniel Haymann, KH Board Member, welcomed the guests. He briefly outlined the general activities of Keren Hajessod before drawing attention to the “Shavim” project. This project is currently the focus of KH Switzerland’s fundraising efforts. It is aimed at IDF reservists who receive therapeutic care after their return from war in order to prevent severe post-traumatic illnesses.

Afterwards, there was plenty of laughter. The program included the sequel to the film “Matchmaking”. Even guests who had not seen the first movie had a great time watching this romantic comedy set in the ultra-Orthodox milieu in Jerusalem.

The guests left the cinema in good spirits, enriched by a piece of Israeli film culture in Zurich.
