At this year’s Leadership Conference in Jerusalem at the beginning of July, our board member and KH Basel President Nadia Guth Biasini received the Yakir Award.

The Yakir Award is presented annually to leading personalities who have made an important contribution to Keren Hajessod and the people of Israel through their commitment and long-term partnership.

Nadia is the first woman from Switzerland to be honored with this award. This year, Yakir recipients come from all over the world, including Chella Safra from Brazil, Oranju Raiva from Thailand, Debbie and Warren Kimel from Canada, Dr. Boris Mints from England, Berta Sutton Dabbah from Argentina and Stephen Julian Cordell from Australia.
