Together with about 700 participants from 40 countries a delegation from Keren Hajessod from Jerusalem, led by Sam Grundwerg, World Chairman KH, celebrated the 125th anniversary of the First Zionist Congress in Basel. Also some local KH Presidents and delegates in Europe did not miss this memorable occasion. After the conference, all KH representatives met with the management of the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI). Doron Almog (Chairman of Executive JAFI), Mark Wilf (Chairman BOD JAFI), Amira Aharonoviz (CEO JAFI) and Moshe Ashiri (CFO JAFI) agreed that they aim for a close cooperation and a lively exchange with KH.
Afterwards, the participants celebrated Nadia Guth Biasini for the Yakir Award, which was presented to her at this year’s KH Leadership Conference in Jerusalem.
